Our Role and Process
This Is J came to us with a common problem that DTC and ecommerce brands face.
How do you build a profitable business without relying on sale ads and promotion?
Back in April 2019, this meant spending 4 months testing Facebook ad creative and ad copy to unlock a combo that would have the brand be profitable on their 1st purchase. Once we unlocked this combo, we have been able to scale by testing audiences and expanding the type of creative we use… especially on Instagram.
Our paid search took a different path to success. We used customer interviews and understanding why people buy to target higher intent keywords. We took some of our most successful Facebook ad copy and used it on Google and Microsoft.
We have also build a custom shopping feed, expanded on the paid search campaign types we run and continue to make sure our ad copy stays up to date.
Platforms Used

This Is J is still a client to this day and we continue to look at new ad platforms and ways to help the brand expand.
Beyond paid ads, we have helped the brand and team think more strategically around PR, SEO and email marketing. We know that successful brands don’t rely on just one marketing channel to scale to 7 figures, let alone hit 8 figures in yearly revenue.
We also talk about SKU optimization with the brand and making sure we can give customers more of what they want. The faster a brand can turn around product, the faster they can scale.
