Our Role and Process
Soap & Paper Factory has spend the last two decades building a brand people love.
However, the brand is only often known for their hero products and scent: Roland Pine. People will often search for this scent vs the company name on Google.
This sheds light on the business problem that we need to solve: “How does a brand expand beyond their core products? Especially when people only search for Roland Pine products but not the other scents they have carried for years.”
This is where the power of understanding your customers comes in as well as using Meta Ads across Facebook and Instagram.
One of our ideas for the brand was sampling the other scents. That way, we could lower bar for people to test out the other products. If you want people to buy something, you have to make it easy.
Platforms Used
Once our team made sure paid search was covered across Google & Microsoft Ads (which included continuing to test out Performance Max and Discovery Ads), our team was able to shift our focus to Meta and 3 key areas for growth:
- Setup an ad creative cadence to make sure we had new creative at least monthly
- Leveraged 1st party data around our best customers
- Tested audience targeting to maximize our creative out put
This allowed the brand to sell out of inventory and have to stop selling online two years in a row during Q4.
This fantastic work allowed us to take over Amazon Ads and begin to scale up that platform for the brand.
